Job Description:

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager, Enterprise Transformation & Strategic Initiatives to join our Enterprise Operations organization. Reporting directly to the Director, Enterprise Transformation & Strategic Initiatives, this role will play a critical leadership role in identifying, structuring, and executing high-impact enterprise transformation initiatives across the business.

This individual will partner closely with leaders across Commercial, Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Delivery, Service, Finance, IT, and Corporate Functions to translate enterprise priorities into measurable business outcomes.

This role combines business consulting, strategic problem-solving, business case development, and enterprise program execution. The ideal candidate can operate at both the strategic and execution level—helping leaders frame problems, quantify opportunities, design solutions, and drive implementation to measurable results.

This role is designed for an experienced transformation leader who thrives in complex, matrixed environments and can drive execution across multiple workstreams while helping institutionalize scalable operating mechanisms that improve enterprise performance at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Transformation Program Leadership

  • Lead and execute enterprise-wide transformation and strategic initiatives aligned to operational excellence, quality improvement, margin enhancement, execution predictability, and enterprise growth priorities

  • Translate executive priorities into structured implementation plans with clear milestones, owners, timelines, risks, and measurable business outcomes

  • Drive execution across multiple concurrent transformation programs spanning functions, regions, and stakeholders

  • Support enterprise initiatives focused on operating model advancement, business process optimization, strategic execution, and AI-enabled business transformation

Business Consulting, Problem Solving & Business Case Development

  • Partner with business leaders to identify, structure, and evaluate enterprise improvement opportunities across operations, quality, margin, execution, and business performance

  • Develop fact-based business cases, ROI assessments, value creation opportunities, financial impact analyses, and implementation roadmaps to support enterprise decision-making

  • Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to diagnose root causes, assess tradeoffs, and develop actionable recommendations for complex business challenges

  • Support executive teams in evaluating strategic priorities, transformation opportunities, operating model improvements, and organizational effectiveness initiatives

  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders on priorities, decisions, recommendations, and execution plans

Program Governance & Strategic Execution

  • Establish and manage program governance mechanisms including transformation roadmaps, KPIs, milestones, executive updates, RAID logs, decision tracking, and escalation pathways

  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, execution gaps, and mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery of enterprise priorities

  • Monitor initiative health and performance, ensuring programs remain aligned to business objectives, timelines, and expected value realization

  • Support prioritization and structured portfolio management of enterprise strategic initiatives

Cross-Functional Leadership & Operating Model Advancement

  • Partner across Commercial, Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Delivery, Service, Finance, and IT organizations to drive alignment and execution

  • Support advancement of Fluence’s enterprise operating model and scalable ways of working across the value chain

  • Identify operational friction points, process inefficiencies, and execution risks while driving sustainable solutions

  • Improve cross-functional coordination, decision velocity, and enterprise execution discipline

Executive Leadership Support & Strategic Communication

  • Develop executive-level presentations, transformation updates, steering committee materials, business cases, and recommendations for senior leadership

  • Facilitate leadership forums, transformation workshops, and cross-functional working sessions to accelerate decision-making and remove barriers to execution

  • Provide structured, data-driven recommendations to improve enterprise performance and transformation outcomes

Value Realization & Performance Improvement

  • Define and monitor KPIs, milestones, financial impacts, operational improvements, quality performance, productivity gains, and transformation outcomes

  • Ensure enterprise initiatives deliver measurable value across cost, margin, quality, execution, and operational performance

  • Continuously identify opportunities to optimize, accelerate, and improve business performance

Change Adoption & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Drive stakeholder engagement and organizational adoption of transformation initiatives

  • Partner with business leaders to embed new capabilities, governance mechanisms, and scalable operating practices

  • Support change management efforts to improve accountability, sustainability, and long-term success of enterprise initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 8–10+ years of experience leading enterprise transformation, strategic programs, PMO, operational excellence, business operations, management consulting, or large-scale cross-functional initiatives within complex organizations

  • Proven track record delivering measurable business impact through enterprise-wide transformation programs and strategic initiatives

  • Strong program management expertise including governance, milestone management, risk management, dependency tracking, KPI management, executive reporting, and benefit realization

  • Demonstrated experience developing business cases, ROI analyses, value creation frameworks, financial impact assessments, and executive recommendations

  • Strong structured problem-solving capabilities with the ability to simplify complex business challenges into executable solutions

  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within highly matrixed, fast-paced global organizations

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment without direct authority

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, analytical, and executive presentation skills

  • Experience in management consulting, business transformation consulting, enterprise PMO, strategic operations, or operational excellence environments strongly preferred

  • Experience in energy, manufacturing, industrial, supply chain, technology, or other operationally complex industries preferred

  • Experience with enterprise operating models, Lean, continuous improvement, operational excellence, or transformation methodologies preferred

  • Experience supporting AI-enabled business transformation or digital transformation initiatives strongly preferred

  • PMP, Lean/Six Sigma, Agile, or related certifications preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
