## What you’ll do:
Job Summary
Responsible for providing support to manufacturing and welding operations, developing manufacturing work instructions, conducting PFMEA activities, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and managing capital projects.
Job Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
\- Identify necessary requirements and tooling to increase productivity
\- Support the design and development of fixtures for assembly
\- Participate in the preventive maintenance program.
\- Development of Auto CAD drawings
\- Assist in the completion of reports, graphs and other manufacturing documents
\- Know ECO's procedures and deploy production documents.
\- Coordinate needs for new transfers for successful implementation
\- Provide input to improve their work.
\- Zero accidents.
\- Meet the training courses assigned to the training system, according to the functions performed.
\- The incumbent will have the responsibility to implement these functions and other activities as assigned by his manager.
\- To set up the all appropriated appointments and meeting for meet committed dates in project ejection and implementations
\- To establish open communication with design centers for project definitions and support
\- Elaborate bi-weekly summary of projects and engineering metrics
\- Support Engineering Manager in the analysis of all Welding specs
## Qualifications:
- Education level required
Bachelor of Mechanical, Industrial, Engineering degree is required or related.
Years and area of experience required
5 to 7 years of previous experience in manufacturing
- Experience working with machining and welding processes in a manufacturing environment
- Fully bilingual (Spanish/English)
Technical knowledge
Must show proficiency in reading and interpreting fabrication, machining and casting drawings, - ANSI and ASME knowledge, ProLaunch knowledge, - Autocad, Pro E - knowledge
