Role Summary: The Application Analyst provides responsive, customer-focused operational support for assigned application systems. In this role, you will help reduce customer impact from application issues, investigate root causes, implement documented resolutions and workarounds, and partner with technical teams to keep critical platforms running reliably.
- Hybrid Working Model: 2-3 days per week in the office.
- Experience Required: 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
About the Role:
- Analyze and resolve low-complexity customer application issues using documented solutions, troubleshooting steps, and established support processes.
- Assess the scope and customer impact of application issues and execute workarounds to restore service as quickly as possible.
- Escalate issues appropriately and engage technical teams or subject matter experts when additional support is needed.
- Provide guidance and training to users on application functionality, correct operation, constraints, and common user-related issues.
- Proactively monitor production and non-production environments and applications to identify potential issues.
- Conduct low-complexity root cause analysis and correlate application issues with related system or environment problems.
- Support smaller projects or issues that require a focused area of technical expertise.
- Participate in project planning sessions and contribute to status updates for customer issues, projects, and operational activities.
- Manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities with guidance while following defined standards and procedures.
- Communicate regularly with team members, share knowledge, and contribute to a collaborative support environment.
- Depending on business needs, this role may also include making general or site-specific modifications, updating system documentation, manipulating data, defining enhancements, and providing input for technical plans and solutions.
About You:

- Experience in application, technical, or customer support with a strong focus on delivering excellent service.
- Proficiency in SQL and a foundational understanding of database administration concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- A customer-first mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Awareness of programming concepts, database usage, and Internet-based applications.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and remain effective in a fast-paced support environment.
Technology Used:
- Web-based software platforms
- SQL and database tools
- Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and related productivity applications
- Application monitoring, ticketing, or support workflow tools, as applicable
Education/Certification(s):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant technical certifications are preferred but not required.
Success in this Role:
- Respond quickly and professionally to application issues while keeping customers and stakeholders informed.
- Follow documented support processes, escalate appropriately, and contribute to reliable issue resolution.
- Identify recurring issues, share knowledge with the team, and help improve support quality over time.
