Skilled Writer – Cybersecurity Research and Threat Intelligence

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Writer to join our global Security Research Publication and Awareness Team.

Job description

The successful candidate will produce cybersecurity research publications with a particular focus on AI-related threats, trends, and technologies, primarily for publication on ESET’s platforms. The role also includes supporting the creation of intelligence reports and analyses provided to ESET Threat Intelligence customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cooperate closely with ESET’s AI team and global Threat Research team, helping researchers maximize the reach of their findings, in a joint effort to inform about current cyberthreats and ESET’s technologies.

• Ghostwrite or edit cybersecurity research publications to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.

• Produce engaging and informative IT security awareness content tailored to various audiences, including technical and non-technical readers.

• Participate in the production of Threat Intelligence reports for paying customers, as an editor and by creating regular digests from sets of in-depth technical reports.

Qualifications:

• Advanced, native-like level of English proficiency.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English are a must; professional writing and/or editing experience in English is a plus.

• Advanced analytical skills and ability to translate complex technical information into simple and engaging content.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outputs.

• Background and experience in cybersecurity or a related field are a significant plus.

• Good presentation skills are an advantage.

Basic wage component (brutto): from 2700 EUR/month

* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
* Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 10% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period(usually 6 months).
