The role

We are looking for an experienced Workday Functional Consultant with deep expertise across multiple Workday modules, primarily Compensation, Recruiting (Workday Talent Acquisition), and Core HCM. The ideal candidate will play a key role in Workday implementations, enhancements, and ongoing support while acting as a trusted advisor to HR stakeholders and business leaders.This role requires strong functional knowledge, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions

What you'll be responsible for

  • Act as a Workday Core HCM, Compensation, and Recruiting subject matter expert.
  • Lead or support Workday implementations, rollouts, and post-production support activities.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into Workday configurations and solutions.
  • Configure and maintain key Workday components, including:
  • Job profiles, job families, and supervisory organizations
  • Compensation plans, eligibility rules, and compensation cycles
  • Recruiting processes, candidate lifecycle, and offer management
  • Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Payroll teams to optimize processes.
  • Recommend Workday best practices and delivered functionality adoption.
  • Support change management, communications, and deployment activities.
  • Perform unit testing, end-to-end testing, and UAT support.
  • Troubleshoot configuration issues, business process errors, and system enhancements.
  • Support Workday quarterly releases, impact assessments, and change deployment.
  • Maintain configuration documentation, workbooks, SOPs, and process guides.
  • Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics (preferred).
  • Support role-based security, user access, and system governance.

We're looking for someone who

  • 5–10 years of total experience, including 6–8 years of Workday experience.
  • Strong expertise in Workday Core HCM with experience in 2+ additional modules.
  • Hands-on experience across 3+ Workday modules, including:
  • Core HCM
  • Compensation
  • Recruiting / Talent Acquisition
  • Strong understanding of the Workday business process framework.
  • Experience leading end-to-end Workday implementations and deployments.
  • Strong skills in functional configuration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • Experience managing Workday releases, regression testing, and change control processes.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Preferred Workday certifications in HCM, Compensation, or Recruiting.
  • Experience with additional Workday modules such as:
  • Advanced Compensation
  • Absence Management
  • Talent & Performance
  • Payroll integrations
  • Experience working in large, global organizations preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, HRIS, HR, or related field required.
  • Master’s degree/MBA is an added advantage.
