Duties:
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including sorting ingredients and preparing kitchen stations.
- Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing and cleanup services to ensure event success.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area by regularly cleaning sinks, counters, and floors to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of dishes during busy service hours.
- Follow all food handling safety protocols and sanitation procedures diligently.
- Help with light cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold hygiene standards.
Experience:
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as bussing tables or assisting in food prep is a plus.
- Experience working at hotels or in catering settings can be advantageous for understanding diverse service needs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently.
