POSITION OVERVIEW
This provider will practice independently with support from a Medical Director while delivering high-quality acute outpatient care within a school-based setting. The position focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating common illnesses and injuries while performing minor office procedures, including suturing. Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries
• Provide direct outpatient care to students and school personnel
• Perform minor office procedures including suturing
• Practice independently with Medical Director support
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with school staff and healthcare providers
• Deliver compassionate evidence-based patient care

COMPENSATION
• $54-$68 per hour based on experience

SCHEDULE
• Monday-Friday
• 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
• No evenings
• No weekends
• No call responsibilities

Requirements

• Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner REQUIRED
• Active Virginia Family Nurse Practitioner License REQUIRED
• Active DEA Registration REQUIRED
• Ability to Practice Independently REQUIRED
• Experience Caring for Pediatric & Adolescent Patients REQUIRED
• Experience Performing Minor Procedures Including Suturing REQUIRED
• Strong Clinical Assessment Skills REQUIRED
• Excellent Communication Skills REQUIRED
• Community-Based Care Experience Preferred
• School-Based or Primary Care Experience Preferred
