Sr. Manager, Business Analysis (Customer Centric Planning)

Role Overview: 

The Customer-Centric Planning team is looking for a Sr. Manager, Business Data Analysis to lead our customer insights and analytics function. In this role, you will define the strategic analytics roadmap, manage a team of analysts, and partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive customer experience improvements, mitigate risks, and uncover high-impact growth opportunities. 

This role demands a strategic leader who excels at bridging complex data insights with high-level business strategy. You will thrive in ambiguous environments, taking end-to-end ownership to align cross-functional stakeholders, streamline business processes, and scale analytical frameworks. While leading strategically, you also retain the technical depth to guide your team through complex methodologies and ensure execution excellence on the front line. 

 

What You Will Do 

• Strategic Roadmap & Vision: Formulate and execute the end-to-end data analytics roadmap for customer-centric planning, aligning analytics initiatives with overarching company strategic goals and growth priorities. 

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of data and business analysts. Set clear KPIs, foster professional growth, and establish best practices for data storytelling, advanced analysis, and business reporting. 

• Cross-Functional & Executive Alignment: Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders (including Growth Marketing, Operations, and Product). Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable business strategies and drive company-wide adoption. 

• Strategic Root-Cause & Impact Analysis: Oversee holistic, data-driven root-cause analyses on business and customer pain points. Champion data-backed solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer experience. 

• Program & Project Governance: Define metrics, goals, frameworks, and success criteria for large-scale, cross-functional programs. Ensure project portfolios meet strategic timelines and deliver measurable ROI. 

• Analytics Infrastructure & Standards: Guide the design and optimization of executive-level dashboards, analytical frameworks, and data pipelines to ensure scalable and consistent metrics tracking across business units. 

Essential Qualifications 

• 6+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or business intelligence, with 2+ years of direct people management or substantial matrix management experience (preferably in E-commerce, Marketplace, or Tech). 

• Proven track record of building analytics roadmaps, leading cross-functional strategic initiatives, and directly influencing C-level/senior executive decisions. 

• Hands-on proficiency in SQL and advanced analytics tools, with strong experience designing executive visualization dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). 

• Demonstrated ability to navigate, manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, and resolve cross-departmental conflicts. 

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills to effectively articulate insights to non-technical executive audiences.  

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience leading analytics in large-scale e-commerce operations, marketplace ecosystems, or rapid-growth tech environments. 

• Strong background in diverse customer experience management, process optimization, and growth marketing analytics.
