Description
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and create test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, and API testing.
- Validate APIs using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar platforms.
- Conduct basic database validation using SQL.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution.
- Execute test plans and maintain testing documentation.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to improve product quality and testing processes.
- Contribute to QA best practices and continuous process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1+ years of experience in Software QA or Testing.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing and test case design.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to API test automation or automation testing tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of API security and authentication concepts.
- Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or finance.
