- Inspect equipment, structures, materials and determine need for maintenance or repairs
- Assist with any plumbing or electrical issues in clubhouse when needed
- Sand, stain, and/or paint furniture, walls or other surfaces
- Gather and empty trash from all Clubhouse trash bins, including administrative offices
- Clean building floors: sweep, mop, scrub, and/or vacuum
- Repair and maintain building floors: strip, seal, finish, and polish
- Maintain clean walls and baseboards inside/outside of clubhouse
- Clean and maintain all light fixtures in and outside of clubhouse
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms
- Repair kitchen appliances as able
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
- Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are avoided
- Notify managers concerning maintenance activity that may affect their department, create access issues, or raise questions by Members or guests
- Notify Maintenance Supervisor of supplies and/or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
- Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for special events
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks
- Assist Housekeeper with general cleaning of Clubhouse including: wiping down walls and ceilings, vacuuming carpets and rugs, cleaning restrooms, dusting furniture and fixtures, etc.
- Communicate supply, maintenance, safety and storage needs to management promptly
- Maintain clean and organized Storage Room and Maintenance office
- Attend all trainings and meetings as required/requested
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 2 years' maintenance technician experience
- Basic knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements and use of equipment/machinery
- Basic knowledge of proper chemical handling preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing
- Must have prior handyman experience
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
