## About this Role
We are seeking a Statutory Reporting & Audit Lead to lead the statutory reporting, statutory accounts production and audit coordination model across multiple supported markets within the VOIS Record to Report organisation. This role is responsible for ensuring statutory reporting calendars, audit readiness, evidence management, PBC workflows, filing mechanics and delivery governance are executed through a consistent and controlled operating model. The successful candidate will work closely with GFC, MFC, Chief Accountants, HOFOs, external auditors and finance stakeholders to deliver high-quality statutory reporting while maintaining clear ownership boundaries between production activities and accounting judgement, disclosure approvals and statutory sign-off responsibilities.
## What you’ll do
- Lead the VOIS statutory production and audit coordination operating model across supported markets, ensuring robust governance, clear ownership and delivery discipline.
- Establish and maintain a hub-and-spoke statutory reporting model, coordinating central production activities and local statutory support where required.
- Manage statutory reporting calendars, milestones, dependencies, audit plans and escalation frameworks to ensure timely delivery against internal and local deadlines.
- Coordinate statutory reporting activities across statutory teams, ARC, R2R, HOFOs, GFC, MFC, Chief Accountants and other finance stakeholders.
- Drive statutory accounts preparation, including pack builds, financial statement drafts, note preparation support, tie-out processes and version control.
- Standardise statutory reporting templates, working papers, evidence repositories and production artefacts wherever possible while accommodating local regulatory requirements.
- Lead audit evidence management, PBC workflows and audit query tracking to ensure timely response and closure of audit requirements.
- Coordinate external audit activities, ensuring production-related requests are resolved efficiently while routing accounting judgement and disclosure matters to the appropriate owners.
- Manage statutory filing mechanics within VOIS scope, including filing calendars, submission preparation, proof-of-submission tracking and document retention requirements.
- Maintain visibility of statutory readiness, open risks, delivery challenges and escalation requirements through structured governance and stakeholder reporting.
## Who you are
- Experienced in statutory reporting, financial reporting, audit coordination, controllership, Record to Report operations or related finance disciplines within complex multi-entity environments.
- Strong understanding of statutory accounts preparation, audit workflows, PBC management, filing processes, financial close activities and balance sheet substantiation.
- Good knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP reporting environments, with the ability to differentiate between statutory production activities and technical accounting ownership.
- Proven people leadership experience, including leading geographically distributed teams through demanding reporting and audit cycles.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, influencing and collaboration across finance leadership, statutory reporting teams, external auditors and cross-functional partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, regulatory deadlines, audit pressures and cross-market delivery requirements.
- Experienced in process standardisation, governance implementation, issue resolution and operational excellence.
- Finance, accounting or business qualification required; professional accounting qualification preferred.
- Experience supporting external audits, evidence management, audit request resolution and issue closure.
