Corpay is currently looking to hire a Machine Learning Engineer within our IVP Data & AI division. This position is located in Prague.

In this role, you will make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will be part of Corpay's IVP Data & AI team, working alongside Data Scientists, ML/AI Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts. This role is ideal for someone who values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and business leaders to drive strategic decision-making across multiple regions, including the UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop impactful solutions.

• Develop and deploy machine learning models for batch-based data products as well as real-time ML/AI services in cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).

• Create MLOps automation processes utilizing ETL data pipelines to improve model performance and efficiency in data collection and preparation.

• Drive and advocate best practices and architecture in ML/LLM Ops.

• Document analytical processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure clarity, reproducibility, and knowledge sharing across teams.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master's degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Machine Learning/AI, Physics, Engineering, or similar).

• Minimum 3+ years of experience delivering measurable business value by building and deploying production-scale machine learning models.

• Excellent understanding of modern state-of-the-art ML and LLM-enabled pipelines, including hybrid architectures of ML models and agentic workflows.

• Strong practical experience with ML and data science frameworks including PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, SciPy, XGBoost, and similar.

• Strong SQL skills for complex data analysis.

• Excellent Python programming skills.

• Experience with AWS Redshift and version control systems such as Git/GitLab.

• Experience building production ML solutions using ETL pipelines (AWS Glue, EMR, Airflow) and automated retraining with benchmarking and evaluation.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-quality solutions.

Would Be Great If You Have

• PhD in a STEM field.

• Experience within financial services or another commercial environment.

• Experience with AWS Bedrock, Ray RLlib, vLLM, Apache Spark, or similar technologies.

• Experience with Reinforcement Learning frameworks such as Gym, OpenRLHF, Stable Baselines, or PyTorch RL.

• Experience with FastAPI, Starlette, or similar API frameworks for AI/ML applications.

• Passion for keeping up with the latest AI/ML research and experimenting with state-of-the-art models.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is Kč 1,440,000 – Kč 1,800,000 gross per year. The final offer will be determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including relevant skills, professional experience, and qualifications. Corpay maintains structured compensation practices and regularly reviews pay to support compliance with equal pay principles and applicable EU legislation. Additional compensation elements, including benefits and variable pay (if applicable), will be discussed during the recruitment process.
