The Head of Enterprise Architecture is a senior technology executive responsible for defining and executing the organization's enterprise architecture strategy across business capabilities, applications, data, cloud, cybersecurity, integration, AI, and digital platforms. This leader will establish the long-term technology vision, ensuring enterprise systems are scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned with strategic business objectives.

The role oversees enterprise architecture across a complex Property & Casualty insurance environment, guiding modernization initiatives, technology investments, and architectural standards that support policy administration, claims, underwriting, customer engagement, data, analytics, and AI-enabled business capabilities.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in enterprise architecture, modern cloud platforms, core insurance technologies, enterprise integration, data strategy, cybersecurity, and AI. Experience supporting acquisitions, platform consolidation, and enterprise transformation within the P&C insurance industry is highly desirable.

Enterprise Architecture Leadership

• Develop and execute the enterprise architecture strategy across business, application, data, integration, cloud, security, and AI domains.
• Define future-state architecture, technology standards, reference architectures, capability roadmaps, and modernization strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including significant experience in enterprise architecture or architecture leadership.
• Extensive experience within the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of policy administration, claims, billing, underwriting, customer experience, data, and enterprise business capabilities.
• Experience with modern core insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Insurity, or comparable enterprise solutions.
• Proven experience leading enterprise modernization, cloud transformation, system integration, and large-scale technology initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or complex enterprise integration efforts.
• Deep technical knowledge of cloud architecture, APIs, event-driven architecture, enterprise integration, AI/ML, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, observability, and modern software engineering practices.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and balance technology decisions across business value, risk, cost, scalability, and speed.
• Strong leadership skills with experience building high-performing technical teams, establishing governance, and driving enterprise-wide architectural excellence.
