Description
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support production operations through welding, assembly, basic machining, inspection, and other manufacturing processes. This role is responsible for helping ensure finished products meet quality standards while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Load and unload CNC cylinder head porting machines.
Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, machining finish, and overall quality to ensure products meet or exceed standards.
Pressure test cylinder heads according to established procedures.
Wash, clean, and prepare cylinder heads for assembly.
Perform assembly, welding, and packaging operations for a variety of products.
Maintain accurate records of completed work.
Manage assigned supplies and equipment, including performing preventive maintenance and cleaning machinery, equipment, and work areas.
Assist team members with machining, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and other production-related duties as needed.
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and team members to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, and supply cost control.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Graduate or equivalent. Automotive Technology, Automotive High Performance, or equivalent Automotive Machine Shop Training. Engine performance and rebuilding experience is a plus. 2 years of experience in automotive machining is a plus. Must have experience with measuring and gauging equipment.
SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 1am - 9:30 am
