  •  Work with the communications team to produce compelling content and materials for donors, including the annual impact report, annual fundraising appeals and digital campaigns.
  • Manage the annual direct mail, email and online fundraising activities to attract, retain and upgrade donors annually.

  • Design and implement strategies to thank, recognize and steward Chinatown CDC supporters.
  •  Design and implement strategies to acquire new donors and re-engage lapsed funders.
  • Manage donor data in Salesforce, maintaining accurate donor records and lists to ensure effective and timely gift processing and acknowledgement, segmentation, moves management and donor recognition and stewardship.
  • Produce fundraising analytics and regular performance reports (revenue, retention, ROI, pipeline) for leadership and the board.
  • Ensure compliance with donor intent, data privacy, and fundraising ethics.

Corporate Partnerships and Special Events

  • Orchestrate special events that attract and inspire donors to give to Chinatown CDC.
  • Manage the annual gala, including securing the venue, managing the event budget and vendors, securing corporate sponsors, promoting ticket sales, managing the guest list and tables, and coordinating with colleagues on the event program and collateral.
  • Help coordinate events during Chinatown CDC’s 50th anniversary campaign, including an Alumni Reunion for former staff and board members, many of whom are donors, prospective donors or key connectors.
  • Secure corporate sponsors for events and manage relationships with corporate partners throughout the year, to ensure they remain informed and engaged.
  • When appropriate, arrange tours or volunteer opportunities for corporate partners, current or prospective donors, and other key organizational partners.

Support Comprehensive Fund Development Efforts

  • Minimum of five years of fundraising or development experience in a nonprofit environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success implementing effective and innovative fundraising strategies.
  • Collaborative team player who is eager to learn and build strong relationships with colleagues and partners.
