Objective / Purpose of the Function:
Develop activities, projects and responsibilities assigned to the position, through experience and knowledge in the management of automated optical inspection “AOI” equipment applied to the manufacturing of mixed technology electronic products.

Authority:
Consult FMI-143 for individual standard operating procedures related to authorities/responsibilities in management systems.

Principal Responsibilities:
• Verify material flow according to its corresponding process level and guarantee its Quality.
• Comply with safety guidelines.
• Development and monitoring of verification activities, maintenance, calibration, updating of documentation, records, process and training as required.
• Maintain communication of the needs and/or condition of the equipment to the Quality Engineer, support and production personnel.
• Guarantee the availability of repair parts for the equipment under your responsibility.
• Keep automated inspection equipment available and functional, as well as the generation, updating and debugging of programs and software control monitoring and back-up of the same.
• Publication of information and/or graphs of improvements or projects on automated inspection equipment.
• Implementation of ECN's in automated inspection equipment.
• Communicate. Quality when it is required to contact technical service providers and required service parts.
• Generation of coverage reports. Development of detection tests as required.
• Follow-up on reports of lost time of the teams under their responsibility.
• Continuous monitoring of the “Acceptance Rate” metric as well as the definition and implementation of corrective actions.
• Improve equipment detection for leaks reported by our clients.
• Comply with the Health, Safety and Environment Policy, following the procedures and instructions applicable to its activities. Competencies / abilities:
Range/Level: (1-Basic, 2-Intermidate, 3- Advanced, 4- Expert)

• Electronics engineering or similar.
• 2 years of experience in the position.
• Experience in the field of electronic manufacturing with Mixed technologies.
• Programming, equipment failure analysis, calibration and application of preventive and corrective maintenance to automatic inspection equipment.
• Interpretation of assembly drawings and material bills.
• Interpretation of product documentation in general.
• Interpretation of schematic diagrams.
• Basic theoretical/practical electronics and management of basic electrical/electronic measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of the assembly process of electronic products with the use of mixed technologies, SMT and T-Hole, manual soldering, mechanical assemblies.
• Interpretation of IPC-A 610.
• Knowledge of current ISO 9001 Standard.
• Knowledge of current ISO 14001 Standard.
• Knowledge of RoHS directive.
• Knowledge of ESD.
• Basic English.
