Summary of Experience:
- No previous experience is required but any experience as a barista or with milkshakes, smoothies, and boba teas will be a benefit! If you have social media experience, there could be opportunities for additional income here as we work to grow our online presence.
Basic Qualifications:
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation, and be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including milkshakes, bubble teas, smoothies, slushies, cold brew coffee, and Espresso while adhering to standard recipes or customizing according to customer preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere at all times by engaging with and understanding our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café, including workstations and customer seating areas, kitchen, restrooms, and front of shop.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to build relationships with teammates and quickly connect with customers by always being friendly and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
