Veterinarian (DVM) – Visalia, CA
A well-established small animal practice is seeking a Veterinarian (DVM) to join its collaborative and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine in a positive environment with access to modern equipment and a diverse caseload. The position offers the opportunity to provide preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and medical case management while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Provide wellness care, vaccinations, and preventive medicine
- Perform routine surgical procedures and soft tissue surgeries
- Conduct dental examinations and treatments
- Diagnose and manage medical cases
- Utilize in-house diagnostics, digital imaging, and other modern equipment
- Educate clients on treatment plans and preventive care
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to deliver quality patient care
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active California veterinary license or eligibility for licensure
- Interest or experience in small animal general practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented with a commitment to high-quality patient care
