Job Title: Facilities & Security Support Specialist
Location: Spencer Composites Corporation (SCC), (wholly owned subsidiary of X-Bow Systems, Inc.)
Salary: Up to $80,000 annually
Summary:
Spencer Composites is seeking a reliable and proactive Facilities & Security Support Specialist to support daily facility operations while maintaining a safe and secure environment. This cross-trained role will assist with general maintenance, facility walkthroughs, and security monitoring to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilities Support
• Perform general maintenance assistance and basic repair tasks
• Conduct daily facility walkthroughs to identify issues and ensure operational readiness
• Support routine facility operations, including coordination with contractors or vendors
• Report maintenance needs and assist the Facilities Manager with ongoing projects
Security Responsibilities
• Oversee access control systems and manage physical entry points
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and mitigate potential security risks
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and security policies
• Monitor and document suspicious behavior, incidents, or breaches
• Communicate security concerns promptly to appropriate personnel
Qualifications:
• Experience in facilities, security, or a related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to issues
