PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Control of all incoming materials, suppliers and custodian of measuring and testing equipment/methods
QUALITY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY
- Control of incoming materials
- Handling of non-conforming materials
- Custodian of measurement and testing equipment and methods
- Measurement and testing of in-process and finished products
- Handling of non-conforming results
- Continuous improvement
- Supplier monitoring & risk assessments
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSION REGISTRATIONS/ACCREDITATIONS REQUIRED BY THE POSITION
- Diploma in Food Technology
- TQM / B. Tech. would be advantageous
- Sound working knowledge MS Office suite (Outlook; PowerPoint, Excel)
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a laboratory
- Strong communication skills at different levels
- Independent thinking and assumes process ownership
