Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Reporting in San Juan Capistrano, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related needs with integrity. - Provide customer service to employees, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare laboratory setting.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of laboratory facilities, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and employee access procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
