Seed Handler

Description

Join our seed packaging team as a Seed Handler. In this full-time role, you will pull, package, verify, and seal seed orders, operate packaging equipment, and help keep our seed inventory accurate and well organized.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Pull, package, verify, and seal seed packages
• Operate packaging and sealing machines
• Count, put away, and maintain inventory, and assist with physical inventory
• Retrieve seed from the refrigerated vault and seed warehouse
• Replenish packaging supplies
• Use SAP and other system tools for inquiries and to manage materials
• Perform quality checks
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Production or assembly experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Ability to adapt quickly
• Flexibility to work in multiple areas and perform multiple tasks as needed

• The ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs. for up to 10% of the day
• The ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs. for up to 10% of the day
• The ability to sit/stand for up to 50% of the day
• The ability to kneel/bend for up to 20% of the day
• The ability to reach above shoulder level for up to 15% of the day
• The ability to climb/balance for up to 10% of the day
• The ability to use hands/fingers for up to 100% of the day

Hourly Pay Range:  $16 - $18
