The Houlihan Lokey Corporate Finance business has extensive expertise in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, activist shareholder and takeover defense, and other related advisory services for a broad range of clients. In addition, we have the proven ability to engineer and execute financing solutions that are essential for growth and success and offer access to financing in the public and alternative capital markets through the issuance of debt, equity, or hybrid securities. In EMEA, we work with a wide spectrum of companies, from middle-market privately owned enterprises to large multinational organizations. With a growing platform of Corporate Finance professionals and offices across the region, in addition to our global reach and in-depth knowledge across a broad range of industries, we have the breadth and targeted expertise to provide exceptional client service.

Program Information

Our 4-day Spring Insight Week program is designed for students graduating in 2029, who are interested in a career in investment banking. Regardless of what subject you are studying at university, this program will give you exposure to the life you could lead working in a dynamic, diverse, and international firm.

The program will include opportunities for you to:

• Learn about the Houlihan Lokey Corporate Finance business, and investment banking more broadly, from our bankers
• Hear from senior business leaders about their roles and how their teams are developing
• Shadow junior Corporate Finance bankers to learn more about their day-to-day responsibilities
• Attend practical technical and soft skills workshops
• Showcase your problem-solving abilities by presenting case studies to senior business leaders
• Network and attend a social event with a wide variety of bankers

In the case that you demonstrate the right skills and motivation during our Spring Insight Week program, you may be fast-tracked to the Assessment Centre for our 2028 Summer Financial Analyst internship programs.

Requirements/Qualifications

This program is intended for students attending university in the UK, graduating in 2029. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Some knowledge of or exposure to investment banking, either via academic work or independent research
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate independently but also work in a team
• Be proactive and performance-driven
