About the Role

Lead the development and delivery of customer-centric Takaful products, propositions and ecosystem partnerships to drive business growth, enhance customer value, and support distribution activation while ensuring regulatory and Shariah compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Product Development

• Lead the development and enhancement of new and existing Takaful products and solutions, including opportunity assessment, proposition development, management and Shariah approval, system development, implementation, launch, and post-launch performance tracking.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery by working closely with Healthcare, Distribution, Marketing, Operations, Technology, Shariah, Actuarial and other functions to implement the takaful solutions.

Customer Proposition & Ecosystem

• Develop and implement customer propositions that meet evolving customer needs across different target segments, while working with strategic partners or ecosystem to enhance customer value, improve customer experiences and support business growth.

 

Customer & Distribution Activation

• Collaborate with other marketing team to develop activation programmes, communication, sales and training initiatives to support proposition adoption and business growth as well as up-sell / cross-sell opportunities.

 

Leadership & Governance

• Provide guidance and support to team members while contributing to capability building, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
• Ensuring adherence with regulatory requirements, internal policies and guidelines.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Education - A bachelor's degree in actuarial science, marketing, business administration, Islamic finance or a related discipline.
• Experience – 8 to10 years of relevant experience in product development, proposition management, marketing, customer management or insurance/takaful.
• Takaful Knowledge - Familiarity with Shariah guidelines, principles, values with strong understanding of Takaful products and market segment.
• Others - Strong stakeholder management, project management and communication skills.
