What you'll be doing:

We are looking for a Halal Coordinator to lead halal certification at our Garwolin manufacturing site. You will make sure our materials and products meet halal requirements, so they can be certified and sold in halal-required export markets. You will work with suppliers, internal teams and the certification body.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage halal approval and documentation for the raw materials, ingredients and packaging we use, working directly with suppliers
• Check new products and changes to existing ones for halal compliance before release
• Prepare product documentation needed for halal certification and registration
• Plan and run internal halal audits, and host external certification audits
• Investigate any issues and make sure corrective actions are completed
• Maintain the site's halal management system and keep documentation audit-ready
• Train colleagues on halal requirements and coordinate across departments
• Act as the main contact for the customer and the certification body on halal matters
• Support the site's other management systems and certifications (e.g. ISO, BRC, IFS) when needed

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in Quality, Environmental or OH&S management
• English at B1 level or higher
• Presenting the attitude of "I don't know, but I will find out what to do"
• Knowledge of management systems (ISO) or HACCP is an advantage
• Accurate and well organised, able to work independently
• Good communicator who works well across teams and with external partners
• Analytical thinker who learns quickly
• Intermediate MS Office skills

Previous Halal experience is not required. Training and support will be provided.
