Warehouse Team Lead - Transport Outbound
Department: Logistics
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Dieren, Netherlands
Reporting To: Head of Warehouse Operations & Transport
Compensation: €43,020.72 / year
Description
At Vintage.com, we’re building the most trusted platform for pre-loved items. We help people give valuable things a new life, making the experience simple, transparent and rewarding.
We bring together specialist knowledge, thoughtful technology and genuine care for our customers. By helping more items stay in circulation, we create value for people and make a positive impact at the same time.
Our Warehouse team keeps customer boxes, stock and equipment moving safely and efficiently through Vintage.com.
From receiving incoming boxes and moving stock between teams, through to storage, packing, dispatch and returns, Warehouse Operations helps make sure items are in the right place at the right time and can continue smoothly through the operation.
The team works closely with Appraisals, Marketplace and other operational teams to respond to changing stock volumes and priorities. Accurate scanning, careful handling and reliable stock movement are essential to keeping the wider operation flowing.
This role makes sure every outbound shipment and internal transfer leaves our Netherlands warehouse safely, accurately and on time.
You’ll lead our company drivers and keep our vehicles safe, legal and ready to use. You’ll plan collections and deliveries between our warehouses, partners and other destinations, and make sure every load is correctly prepared and documented.
Reliable transport keeps items moving through our operation. When collections and deliveries run on time, customers and partners get a smooth and trusted experience, and more pre-loved items find a new home.
We’ll measure success through:
- On-time dispatch, collection and delivery performance against the agreed schedule.
- The number of failed deliveries, missed collections and transport discrepancies.
- Accurate and complete transport documentation, including proof of delivery.
- Vehicle availability, utilisation and downtime caused by maintenance.
- Up-to-date vehicle insurance, inspection and maintenance records, with no lapses.
- Health and safety compliance, including vehicle checks, incidents and near misses.
- Driver productivity and route completion.
- Transport cost per trip or delivery, and reductions in unnecessary journeys.
