What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and healthcare facility policies.
• Screen visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with established entry requirements, including verifying identification, confirming destination, and issuing visitor credentials as assigned.
• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry flow while communicating applicable visitor restrictions and directions.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and documenting observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
