APP, Surgical Oncology Luckow Pavilion, Full Time, Day

Position Summary
In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, contributes professional and clinical expertise to assigned patient populations to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Scope of practice will encompass:

• Expert clinical practice

• Expert guidance and coaching of patients and families and other healthcare providers

• Research

• Leadership (clinical, professional, and systems)

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner Program

• Current Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or for Advanced Practice Nurses a current Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and Registered Nurse First Assist (RFNA)certification if First Assisting Surgeons

• Hold a valid, current New Jersey license.

• Obtain a New Jersey CDS and federal DEA certificate upon employment if not already covered.

• Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving.

• Demonstrates behavior that models the Valley Health System values and standards as well as the Valley Medical Group Mission and Vision Statements.

• Honors commitments to the job and coworkers

• Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred.
• BLS certification

Salary

• Minimum new grad base salary $144,500 K. Salary commensurate with years of experience as an NP/PA.
• Ability to earn up to 5% quality incentive
