Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Support in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and visitor procedures. You will communicate professionally with employees, drivers, and guests while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery driver check-in procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation protocols.
• Document patrol observations, access concerns, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
