What We Offer
Location:
Rehovot,ISRYou’ll benefit from a supportive work culture that encourages you to learn, develop, and grow your career as you take on challenges and drive innovative solutions for our customers. We empower our team to push the boundaries of what is possible—while learning every day in a supportive leading global company. Visit our Careers website to learn more.

We are looking for a Senior Algorithms Tech Lead in the fields of Computer Vision and Deep Learning. Our PROVision algorithm team does applied research to reach state-of-the-art performance and build ground-breaking eBeam metrology products for PDC and the wider semiconductor industry.
About us:
We develop innovative machine learning, computer vision and image processing solutions for eBeam metrology. Our algorithms run on the tool itself, inside the wafer scan, and are used by leading chipmakers worldwide. Our team does applied research to go beyond the state of the art and turn it into products that make an impact on the industry as a whole.
What’s in it for you?
- Join a world-class team focused on innovative, cutting-edge research and development.
- Own a major algorithmic flow from the first concept all the way to the customer’s fab.
- Lead and grow a team of strong algorithm developers.
- Work on high-impact applications, solving challenging and diverse problems.
- Enjoy a friendly, creative and collaborative environment.
What You’ll Be Doing?
- Own a major PROVision measurement or image-processing flow end to end, through research, design, development, validation and proliferation. Examples include CD and overlay measurement, contour extraction and segmentation, image quality, distortion and drift correction, denoising, and defect-sensitive metrology.
- Provide professional and technical leadership to the developers working on the flow. That means setting direction, writing and maintaining the work plan, reviewing code and results, and holding the team to a high standard of experiment hygiene and reproducibility.
- Stay hands-on: lead concept and feasibility work, compare candidate approaches on precision, accuracy, runtime and memory, and design for the tool’s real operating constraints from day one.
- Define the metrics the flow is judged on (precision, accuracy, tool-to-tool matching, robustness across layers and customers) and build the evaluation sets and test harnesses that measure them.
- Drive the hand-over into the product. This covers Python-to-C++ parity, testing, integration into the recipe flow, and documentation and BKMs for the field.
- Work directly with applications, product, field and customer fab engineers to analyze gaps, collect data, and support integration and proliferation at customer sites.
- Evaluate new technologies and published work, and turn the relevant ideas into concrete proposals for our flows.
What You Should Have?
- M.Sc. (or above) in exact sciences. Ph.D. – an advantage.
- 4+ years of hands-on algorithm development in Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Deep Learning, with extensive coding in Python.
- Strong algorithmic and technical background, with a proven track record of taking algorithms from research to production.
- Proven experience in professional or technical leadership, such as guiding other engineers, setting technical direction, or owning a major module or project. A formal Tech Lead title is not required.
- Ability to work independently on complex, open-ended problems, with a broad perspective and an innovative, “can do” approach.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with internal and external customers.
- Fast learner with strong autodidactic capabilities.
- Advantages: experience in semiconductor, metrology or inspection; C++; algorithms for runtime-constrained or CPU-only environments; multidisciplinary products.
Who we are?
