Designer

Product Designer - Interior Collections

Our client is looking for a creative, hands-on designer to develop product designs for client projects and support the global Artisan collections. Reporting to the Director, you will take designs from initial concepts through to final artwork, collaborating with clients, architects and internal teams to bring your ideas to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop product design concepts for a variety of projects, taking ownership from initial creative development through to final artwork.
• Translate client briefs into distinctive designs that balance aesthetic direction, project requirements and production feasibility.
• Participate in site visits and meetings with clients, designers and architects to understand project needs and present design proposals.
• Collaborate closely with sales and production teams to ensure designs can be successfully delivered and meet or exceed client expectations.
• Contribute to the design and development of our global Artisan collections.

Requirements

• A degree in Fine Arts, Design or a related discipline.
• At least five years of relevant product-design experience; additional experience in textiles or interior furnishings would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in relevant textile-design or Adobe software, such as Texcelle, Photoshop or Illustrator, would be an advantage.
• A creative, hands-on approach, with the ability to develop concepts into finished artwork.
• A self-motivated and responsible individual who can manage projects independently and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence collaborating with clients and internal teams.
• A good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
