Description

The Oncology Category Lead for South Latin America (SOLA) is a senior commercial leadership role accountable for the full P&L performance of the Oncology portfolio across Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Reporting to the SOLA Cluster Lead, this role leads business strategy, cross-functional team alignment, and external stakeholder engagement to maximize patient access, revenue growth, and long-term portfolio sustainability across diverse and evolving market environments.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role at the intersection of commercial excellence, policy advocacy, and oncology portfolio strategy.

Business Leadership & Financial Performance

Own end-to-end P&L accountability for the Oncology portfolio across SOLA markets, consistently delivering against revenue targets, IBT commitments, and portfolio growth KPIs.

Develop and execute sound business strategies across the region; ensure timely course-correction to stay ahead of competitive dynamics, LOE and access changes.

Drive optimal resource allocation.

Portfolio & Market Strategy

Define and pursue a winning aspiration for the Oncology Category — identifying and exploiting market-specific opportunities to grow.

Maximize lifecycle product performance through aligned planning, launch excellence, and innovative execution across a multi-brand, multi-market portfolio.

People, Culture & Cross-Functional Leadership

Build and lead a high-performing, engaged Oncology organization across SOLA through effective performance management, talent development, and succession planning.

Cultivate a great place-to-work environment grounded in Pfizer values — courage, excellence, equity, and joy — and demonstrate inspirational leadership in a matrix organization.

Align and coordinate with Medical Affairs, Access, Commercial, Field Force, Finance, Corporate Affairs, and regional/global counterparts to ensure integrated commercial and scientific execution.

Lead by example in embedding compliance and integrity into all commercial programs, field interactions, and working methods.

Customer & Patient Focus

Maintain deep understanding of the oncology patient journey, key environmental drivers, and payer/HCP dynamics across SOLA.

Champion the evolution of customer-facing teams toward full omnichannel engagement, optimizing the mix of F2F, virtual, and digital touchpoints to deliver superior customer experience.

Ensure accurate, timely, and actionable data and patient insights drive investment, content, and resource decisions.
