We offer an integrated approach to patient care, as the pharmacy team collaborates closely with the doctors and nurses in the healthcare center. The pharmacy team is an integral part of the care team for each patient. So, you will have a direct hand in improving outcomes. Estimated Hourly Range of Pay $20.00 - $22.00 DOE
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. This document in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position):
- Assist pharmacists in providing accurate, timely, appropriate, and compliant pharmacy services as per local/federal regulations and company policies and procedures (if applicable)
- Enter patient data and prescription information accurately and efficiently (if applicable)
- Provide compassionate and attentive customer service primarily working at the front-end counter
- Answer telephones expediently and courteously
- Operate POS and ring sales accurately
- Demonstrate proficiency, sensitivity, and a sense of urgency during all phone and on-site interactions
- Complete tasks in an organized, accurate and efficient manner
- Think and act proactively
- Demonstrate the utmost professionalism at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Successful candidates will possess the following education and experience necessary for this position:
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Current/Clear New Mexico Pharmacy Technician registration if applicable (can be an unlicensed pharmacy clerk)
- 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience in a retail pharmacy is preferred
- Excellent Customer Service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
