Job Description

PURPOSE: Transport product between manufacturing plant and warehouse.

SAFETY LEADERSHIP:  Embodies commitment for a safe workplace; acts as a role model on safety leadership, activities and communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY:

• Transport product between manufacturing plant and warehouse.
• Move/spot trailers when necessary.
• Complete vehicle and trailer maintenance checklists as required.  Ensure proper maintenance of vehicles and trailers.  Keep vehicle and trailer logs.
• Operate tow motor to load/unload trailers when necessary.
• Perform all other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate
• Meet all qualifications as listed on “Certified Material Handler” checklist.
• Good understanding of RF/Computer system and procedures.
• Familiarity with warehouse layout and material flow.
• Good communication skills.
• Good data entry skills.
• Ability to comprehend and complete written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must maintain a current CDL.
