National Sales Manager

Job Summary

The National Sales Manager will execute the best practices for the retail and wholesale channel in the Affiliate. She/he will drive Key Account management with Retailer partners, omni-channel. The role will execute commercial plans developed by Brands and deliver sales targets.The National Sales Manager is expected to lead the Commercial team, its field force, including sales force management and commercial coaching. This role will support the digital education delivery, including commercial, social selling and sales coaching.

Responsibilities

1. Team & In-Store Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop the ACE team to achieve retail sales targets, improve productivity, and enhance customer service.

• Manage team performance, staffing, recruitment, succession planning, and regular performance reviews.

• Ensure effective execution of store call cycles, sales activities, promotions, and digital education initiatives.

• Conduct counter coaching, support retail teams, and drive engagement in brand training and e-learning.

• Review monthly sales performance, provide business insights, and develop strategies to grow the customer base and corporate business opportunities.

2. Brand & Store Leadership

• Drive retail sales, service excellence, marketing initiatives, and omnichannel activities in line with brand strategies.

• Build strong relationships with retailers, store management, Brand teams, Education, and Key Account Management.

• Develop sales targets and action plans with ACEs to achieve business growth and increase market share.

• Identify new business opportunities and optimize brand distribution across assigned stores.

• Monitor sales performance, competitor activities, and marketing effectiveness to identify improvement opportunities.

• Manage operational resources, counter setup, inventory levels, testers, and stock returns to ensure operational efficiency.

• Conduct monthly business reviews and management meetings, providing updates on sales performance, key issues, and growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Cosmetics industry experience is an advantage, with a strong understanding of retail operations and brand channel dynamics.

• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and manage people and performance effectively.

• Willingness to spend at least 50% of the time in stores and engaging with retailers.

• Strong skills in sales performance reporting, presentations, and business meetings.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and digital communication tools.

• Effective in managing administrative tasks while prioritizing team development and business results.

• Good understanding of local consumer behavior, social media trends, digital marketing, and competitor activities.
