 PURPOSE 

• A role who can provide automation testing plans and solution to FWD business units (Bu) stakeholders, work on the designing, monitoring, problem solving for new or existing systems. 

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES 

• Analyse, evaluate and develop plans to ensure our automation testing is aligned with the business objectives. 

•  Mentor and guide the overall project’s automation team with BU to follow up the pending validation test cases and status update to the team 

• Lead the automation defect meeting with developer on the high-priority issues and provide support to resolve the problems 

• Design suitable automation framework for each type of applications and monitor delivery quality 

• Monitor and support testing progress to follow project schedule and testing cycles 

• Coordinate with FWD BU users, IT or related project team members to solve key issues or prioritize change requests 

• Recommend the automation solution, approach for the related project implementation.  

• Provide ad-hoc support when required

• Complete cases execution on time 

• Able to analyst testing results and identify the root cause 

• Able to execute test case using automation tools

DECISION MAKING 

• Resource and timeline management on the projects assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE 

• Bachelor's or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, or similar is preferred 

• Above 5 years testing or automation experience, at least 2 years insurance systems working experience 

• Experience writing Python scripts, familiar with Selenium and Appium mechanism 

• Attention to details with good problem solving and analytical skills 

• Ability to work under pressure and to handle tight deadlines.  

• Self-motivated and independent 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills 

• Good command of both reading and written English 

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS 

• Insurance industry is preferred 

• Detail-minded and responsible 

• Proficient in MS Office 

• Knowledge of test tools like Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Load Runner, Mobile Testing tools, etc.
