At Valneva, we are dedicated to developing innovative vaccines that protect people worldwide against serious infectious diseases.
We are looking for a Senior Manager Lab Coordination (m/f/d) to join our Quality Control team. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of lab coordination activities supporting the GMP laboratory. Additionally to your own operational tasks you will lead and develop a small lab coordination team (3 people) with the support of the Head of Quality Control. You will work closely with internal departments, clients, and external testing laboratories.
Responsibilities
- Coordination of day-to-day Lab activities, working hands-on alongside the team
- Person in charge/support for operational readiness and GMP compliance of laboratory equipment, computerized systems and laboratory infrastructure
- Person in charge/support for qualification, validation, maintenance and lifecycle activities for analytical and storage equipment and relevant QC systems
- Validation Officer for equipment and computerized systems and management of related quality events and documentation
- Person in charge/support for qualification, availability and inventory management of key reagents, reference substances, controls, chemicals and laboratory consumables
- Coordination of daily activities and priorities of the Lab Coordination team (3 employees)
- Collaboration on operational and technical CAPEX planning
