We're looking for a Client Support Specialist to join our Client Support team and help shape the future of global commerce.
What you'll own
- Respond to cardholder inquiries by phone, email, chat, and other communication channels, resolving payment and account related issues in line with service standards
- Handle complex and sensitive customer requests, including escalated cases involving fraud, risk, payments, and account maintenance.
- Investigate customer issues, identify suitable solutions, and coordinate with technical and service departments or clients when further support is required
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned clients, supporting colleagues with complex cases and helping identify opportunities to improve processes and service quality
- Coach and train team members, support onboarding of new colleagues, and help coordinate daily activities to ensure timely and consistent service delivery
What you'll bring
- Extensive experience in telephone based customer service, ideally in payment services, financial services, or a contact center environment.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to handle complex customer inquiries independently, including sensitive or high risk cases
- Excellent communication skills, a customer focused mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments
- Strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to support, guide, and coordinate team members while managing multiple tasks
It’s a bonus if you have
- Experience using Global Payments systems or other payment processing and customer service platforms
- Previous experience as a subject matter expert, team lead, or coach in a customer service environment
- Knowledge of card payment processes, fraud prevention, compliance requirements, and relevant card scheme guidelines
