Job Description
Job Summary:**
The Mortgage Specialist is responsible for originating and processing mortgage applications, providing expert advice to clients on suitable home loan products, and ensuring a seamless and efficient mortgage journey.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Proactively identify and cultivate new mortgage lending opportunities to achieve individual sales targets.
* Conduct in-depth financial needs analysis with prospective clients to recommend appropriate mortgage products and solutions offered by UOB Malaysia.
* Guide clients through the entire mortgage application process, including documentation submission, credit assessment, and legal procedures.
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of UOB Malaysia's mortgage products, policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., credit, legal, operations) and external partners (e.g., real estate agents, developers) to facilitate smooth mortgage transactions.
* Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges in the mortgage lending landscape.
* Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on sales performance and pipeline activities.
* Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory guidelines.
