Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk in Columbia, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will create a welcoming presence, assist visitors and staff, manage access, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will help support a secure environment through clear communication and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at a healthcare facility front desk by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal standards.
• Welcome patients, visitors, staff, and vendors; verify access credentials; issue visitor passes; and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry activity, maintain visitor and incident logs, and report unusual or unauthorized activity to designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with access control and other security-related duties while maintaining a professional, courteous presence at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
