About this opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Authority Expert to support alarm analysis, operations and maintenance, troubleshooting, and change implementation across IP network nodes, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and security gateways. You will contribute to managed services delivery through the Ericsson Operations Engine across the Create, Sustain and Evolve lifecycle.
You will analyse and resolve customer and Level 2 trouble tickets, manage faults across routers and switches, coordinate escalations, develop automation, improve recovery processes, and contribute to global technology standards.
What you will do:
\- Monitor ITSM queues, resolve incidents and support MTTR targets.
\- Analyse P0–P4 incidents, identify root causes and recommend actions.
\- Act as first contact for alarm, event and KPI-related issues.
\- Collaborate with field teams on hardware failures, unreachable nodes and site activities.
\- Support service restoration, high availability and SLA commitments.
\- Proactively identify risks, complete health checks, backups and troubleshooting.
\- Share MIR and CSR details with relevant teams.
\- Apply end-to-end network expertise to support operations.
\- Support OEM engagement, problem management, analytics and customer governance.
\- Develop automation to improve managed services delivery.
\- Provide technical guidance to internal teams.
\- Drive continuous improvement across recovery processes and service delivery.
\- Support complex change analysis and execution.
\- Develop strategies that improve customer experience.
You will bring:
\- Strong IP networking knowledge, including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, BGP-LU, MPLS, Inter-AS, LDP, RSVP, TE, L2VPN, L3VPN, BFD, Segment Routing and Cisco ACI.
\- Understanding of VLAN, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, HSRP and Nexus VPC.
\- Knowledge of IPSEC, GRE, VPN, CGNAT, DDoS, Genie and Radware.
\- Experience with Cisco technologies, spine-leaf and border-leaf architecture, and VX-LAN.
\- Telecommunications knowledge across 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G service flows and interfaces.
\- Mandatory Cisco product and vendor knowledge; Ericsson knowledge highly regarded.
\- Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
\- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage priorities.
\- Minimum 5 years’ relevant IP domain experience.
\- Working knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, RAD-ETX, Huawei, Nokia/Alcatel, Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco and Nokia BNG, and F5 load balancers.
\- Understanding of Ericsson Operations Engine and managed services automation.
\- Network-level competence and ability to support cross-domain solutions.
\- Experience in capacity management, lifecycle management, system configuration and administration.
\- Knowledge of network configuration, change management, diagnostics, MS TOP, WLAs and SLAs.
