Responsibilities

Bruker Switzerland AG (Thailand Branch) is searching for a motivated Service Engineer for Analytical X-ray Equipment.  

You will be based in our Bangkok Office and support service activities in Thailand and overseas and your responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Installation of new or modified Advanced X-Ray Systems such as X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) and/or accessories at customer facilities and ensure full functionality according to specifications.
• Provide on-site technical assistance to install, service, and repair equipment.
• Familiarize and train customers for basic operation of the equipment.
• Secure customer acceptance of installation and repair sign-off.
• Re-qualify the entire instrument after service repair.
• Serve as a supportive and effective communication link between the customer and company to ensure customer service satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will possess: 

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 - 5 years’ work experience in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electromechanical and/or electronic equipment.
• General understanding of analog electronics & high voltage circuitry/circuits.
• Proficient in Thai and English both written and spoken.
• Working knowledge of MS Office & basic understanding of network (IT) interfacing.
• Ability to travel extensively on a routine basis in Thailand, up-country & international for work & training.
• Ability to lift up to 25 Kg.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid Driver’s license.
