Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one clean ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains.
The program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from seven systems to one, standardizing processes to create a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that enables agility and scalability across the business.
Additionally, Transcend will remediate end-of-life system exposure expected toward the end of this decade, reducing risk while enabling long-term sustainability.
This position will possess knowledge of transportation operations within regulated pharmaceutical and life sciences environments, with expertise spanning global transportation management, cold-chain logistics, carrier management, transportation master data governance, freight auditing, settlement processes, and transportation analytics. The role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, functional deployment teams, logistics operations, and technology teams to drive standardization, compliance, operational excellence, and transportation transparency across the global supply network.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the deployment of SAP Transportation Management (TM) capabilities within the Transcend program, ensuring alignment with global transportation process standards and design decisions.
Lead and support the harmonization of transportation processes across multiple business units, regions, and SAP landscapes through standardized SAP TM-enabled transportation capabilities.
Provide subject matter expertise in transportation master data governance.
Support the adoption of SAP Transportation Management as the strategic future-state platform for global transportation execution and planning.
Assist with carrier onboarding and new carrier enablement activities, including carrier setup, connectivity validation, and transportation master data readiness.
Support freight audit and settlement processes through carrier connectivity, freight rate validation, RateCube integration, AuditCube integration, issue resolution workflows, invoice validation, and cost allocation processes.
Participate in solution confirmation workshops by documenting business requirements, reviewing solution designs, supporting Fit-to-Template assessments, and validating adherence to SAP best practices and Clean Core principles.

Testing, Deployment & Hypercare Support
Prepare and implement Functional Testing, Business Simulation Testing (BST), Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
Develop and maintain transportation test scripts, test scenarios, and business process validation documentation.
Support defect triage, root cause analysis, resolution validation, and retesting activities.
Implement deployment readiness activities, including transportation master data validation and cutover support.
Provide functional support during deployment and hypercare periods to ensure successful business adoption and operational continuity.
Collaborate with Deployment Leads, Product Owners, Solution Architects, Business SMEs, and Logistics Operations teams to resolve transportation process issues and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
A minimum 4 years of related experience in Transportation Management processes within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, advanced therapy, or regulated life sciences environments.
Hands-on experience working within GxP-regulated environments and understanding of GDP-compliant transportation and distribution requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder leadership skills.
Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry.
Functional knowledge of:
SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM)
SAP / SAP S/4HANA Logistics
Transportation Planning and Execution
Freight Settlement
Carrier Management
Transportation Master Data Governance.
XPS / 4PL/Gateway Integration
Preferred:
Experience supporting SAP TM implementations or global SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
Experience leading transportation processes within pharmaceutical, cell & gene therapy, biologics, or cold-chain supply chain environments.
Familiarity with transportation cost allocation, freight accruals, carrier performance management and transportation visibility,
Experience supporting global transformation, deployment, or ERP implementation programs.
Knowledge in Freight Audit Solutions / Transportation Visibility Platforms / Transportation Reporting and Analytics / Transportation Performance Metrics.
Other:
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time; domestic

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$79,000.00 - $127,650.00Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
