TRADING COMPANY RETAIL ATTENDANT  

Four Seasons Resort Hualālai is seeking a passionate and service-oriented Retail Attendant to join our Hualālai Trading Company team. 

The Hualālai Trading Company is more than a resort retail outlet. It serves as a convenient gathering place for guests and residents alike, offering a thoughtfully curated selection of island-inspired gifts, resort essentials, sundries, grab-and-go food and beverages, locally sourced products, and signature Four Seasons merchandise. The Trading Company helps create memorable guest experiences by providing both convenience and authentic connections to Hawaiʻi. 

As a Retail Attendant, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional service while creating a welcoming shopping environment. You will serve as a knowledgeable resource for guests, helping them discover products that enhance their stay and represent the spirit of Hualālai. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Deliver personalized, gracious, and professional service to every guest, anticipating individual needs and exceeding expectations. 

• Develop a thorough understanding of all merchandise, specialty products, food and beverage offerings, and resort-branded items available within the Trading Company. 

• Utilize product knowledge and relationship-building skills to drive sales and achieve daily and monthly revenue goals. 

• Maintain visually appealing merchandise displays and ensure the store is stocked, organized, and presentation-ready at all times. 

• Share guest feedback and purchasing trends with leadership to support inventory planning and product selection. 

• Assist with inventory audits, cycle counts, and bi-annual inventory processes. 

• Process guest transactions accurately, including cash, credit card, room charge, and complimentary transactions. 

• Follow all company cash-handling procedures and maintain accurate records. 

• Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and aloha while supporting fellow team members and resort operations. 

WHAT TO BRING 

• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage 

• Previous retail, merchandising, stocking, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for guest service. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment. 

• Basic mathematical and cash-handling skills. 

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed. 

• Weekend and holiday availability required. 

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
