Job Scope(s):
- Expedite vendor manufacturing and deliveries to ensure compliance with PO contractual delivery dates and ROS requirements.
- Plan and lead kick-off, pre-production, and pre-inspection meetings to align vendors and project stakeholders on scope, schedule, deliverables, and expectations.
- Coordinate with Engineering to ensure timely review and approval of drawings, calculations, datasheets, and other technical documents in accordance with the vendor's project schedule.
- Work closely with QA/QC and Testing & Commissioning teams to ensure vendor compliance with approved procedures and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) requirements.
- Arrange and coordinate third-party and internal inspections, including witness and hold points, as well as field expediting activities where required.
- Review expediting and inspection reports, identify potential delays or issues, and drive timely follow-up and resolution.
- Monitor vendor progress and provide regular updates through Expediting Reports or other agreed reporting formats.
- Coordinate shipment and logistics activities to ensure materials and equipment arrive on site as scheduled.
- Support the resolution of technical issues in coordination with the Package Engineer and relevant project teams.
- Ensure timely submission and completion of Vendor Data Requirements (VDR) and follow up on outstanding documentation.
- Monitor and drive the closure of deficiencies, discrepancies, and carry-over punch list items.
- Liaise with vendors and Finance to identify and resolve payment-related issues that may affect vendor performance or delivery schedules.
- Identify potential delivery risks and escalate issues promptly to the relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor progress, expediting activities, inspections, and delivery status.
Requirement(s):
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any relevant discipline. Engineering qualification is preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant SCM Expediting experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience in EPC, EPCIC, or EPCM projects is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of vendor expediting manufacturing processes, inspection activities, and material delivery schedules.
- Basic understanding of engineering documentation and product manufacturing processes.
- Good knowledge of project schedules, PO contractual dates, ROS dates, and vendor progress monitoring.
- Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage priorities within tight project schedules.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to compliance with company policies and procedures.
