Role overview:
In this Internship, you’ll support the engineering team by drafting and designing basic electrical schematics using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools. You’ll also assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation related to design activities.
This role offers hands-on experience with electrical design workflows and documentation practices.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting in drafting basic electrical schematics using CAD software under guidance from the engineering team
- Supporting the design process by updating and revising existing electrical drawings as needed
- Helping prepare and organise technical documentation, including design reports and manuals
- Maintaining version control and proper filing of design and documentation materials
- Collaborating with engineers to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards
Who we’re looking for:
- Polytechnic diploma students or university students studying Electrical, Mechatronics or Control Systems
- Software skills: AutoCAD and/or EPLAN
