Position Summary:

The Dishwasher plays a vital part in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and meets the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness in all kitchen areas, operating dishwashing equipment, and assisting with basic food preparation tasks. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, kitchen equipment, and food preparation areas using dishwashing equipment, 3-compartment sinks, and approved cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing surfaces, sweeping and mopping floors, and ensuring compliance with health, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Remove trash, recycling, and waste materials from kitchen and work areas and transport them to designated disposal locations.
• Transport supplies, equipment, and materials between storage, kitchen, pantry, and dish room areas as needed.
• Assist with basic food preparation, pot washing, and other kitchen support duties to ensure efficient operations.
• Follow all safety procedures, participate in required training and meetings, and perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Required to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as walking, climbing stairs, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, stretching, and twisting.
• Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent repetitive motions and standing.
• Ability to work under stress in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment.
