New Product Launch Industrial Engineer Job Description
Objective
- This position acts as the project manager and team lead for the manufacturing process design of new product launches. This role provides the necessary link between design engineering and full-scale production to implement efficient and cost-effective manufacturing systems. This position is responsible for managing the project, from initial business award to successful production implementation, while strictly adhering to budget and timeline constraints.
Essential Responsibilities
- Process Design: Design and develop comprehensive manufacturing processes for new products, ensuring equipment requirements are fully aligned with product specifications and capacity requirements.

- Project Management: Manage the entire project lifecycle, including organizing and leading cross-functional meetings, facilitating technical design reviews, and driving accountability across stakeholders. Ensure all milestones are met, delivering the project on time and within the allocated budget.
- Capacity Planning: Analyze and determine capacity requirements, ensuring alignment with production volume forecasts and efficiency targets.

Industry Experience: Experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment, specifically within automotive electronics (Tier 1 or OEM level) is strongly preferred.Education & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, process engineering, or related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering or process engineering, with a focus on new product launch (NPL).
