Position: Account Payable Supervisor
Department: Group Property Development
Location: Phuket, Thailand

Job purpose

The Account Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing, maintaining AP reconciliations, supporting tax compliance, and recording accounting transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Process supplier payments accurately and on time.
  • Perform accounts payable (AP) reconciliations and ensure all balances are accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare and submit tax filings, including PND.3, PND.53, and other related tax returns in compliance with tax regulations.
  • Record General Ledger (GL) entries accurately in the accounting system in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare information and supporting documents for related party transaction (RPT) reports and confirmations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding payment and accounting matters.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in accounts payable.
  • Good understanding of AP processes, tax regulations, and accounting principles.
  • Experience in property development, real estate, or hospitality is an advantage.
  • Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
