Our Team

Quanata, LLC is an insurance technology innovation company that engineers advanced risk prediction and prevention solutions, develops risk-focused acquisition capabilities, and builds/supports a full-stack, flexible, digital & increasingly AI-native insurance platform. This helps our primary clients, State Farm and HiRoad Assurance Company, adapt to evolving market needs. Quanata, LLC is wholly owned and funded by State Farm.

As a company that prioritizes an inclusive and positive culture, we believe the core of our success is in hiring talented people — across disciplines — who want to help us make a quantifiable impact.

The Role

We’re looking for an accomplished, well-rounded Senior Product Manager to join the Quanata Product Team. You’ll bring experience building insurance platforms and a strong understanding of the policy lifecycle, integrations, data modeling, pricing, and underwriting.

In this role, you’ll lead empowered, cross-functional teams in solving meaningful customer and business problems. Your focus will be on shaping product vision and strategy while translating that direction into measurable business outcomes.

You’ll work at the intersection of product, technology, data, and insurance—navigating complex problems, making evidence-based decisions, and helping teams deliver scalable, high-quality products and services.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Data Science, and domain teams to solve complex product and technical challenges.

  • Drive product discovery across ambiguous, multi-workstream initiatives, using qualitative and quantitative insights to test assumptions and identify high-value opportunities.

  • Own Agile product delivery, including goals, priorities, trade-offs, scope, and backlog management across Scrum and Kanban environments.

  • Evaluate build-versus-buy options and recommend approaches that balance product needs, delivery timelines, and cost.

  • Guide technical design discussions, identify dependencies, and consider performance, scalability, security, and architectural quality.

  • Coordinate development efforts, timelines, and deliverables across product owners, project managers, program managers, and scrum masters.

  • Use data and evidence to prioritize work, measure outcomes, and build a strong culture of measurement and informed decision-making.

  • Communicate product strategy, priorities, and roadmap clearly while keeping day-to-day execution aligned with broader strategic objectives.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree, an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven experience partnering directly with engineering, design, and QA teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate multi-stakeholder environments, build consensus, and make timely decisions.

  • Strong understanding of software development in at least two of these areas: cloud-based infrastructure, API/backend services, or data platforms/data science.

  • Experience leveraging AI to create repeatable workflows that synthesize research, strategy, and execution into actionable outputs that support decision-making and accelerate product delivery.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Comfortable operating effectively in a distributed work environment.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with a broad range of personal and commercial lines insurance products and configurations.

  • Experience with data science modeling and machine learning practices.

Salary: $210,000 to $280,000
